Description
Shadra Strickland's Sophomore students present a selection of newly designed book covers. These fanciful and detailed projects show the use of varied printmaking methods to create eye-catching jackets for your favorite novels and stories. Each student was asked to complete a book cover of their choosing using one or more printmaking techniques introduced to them in class.
All the covers are at least 50% printmaking, alongside digital editing and printing methods. On display are the final book covers, as well as drafts and working materials, including carved linoleum blocks and proofs from selected designs.
